2 day old chick lethargic, wobbly, sometimes open mouth breathing

Just a note: I am in the camp that espouses never giving birds dairy. They are not mammals and therefore lack the enzymes needed to break it down. Birds are naturally lactose intolerant.

Giving probiotics does the same thing as giving yogurt.

She ate some egg yolk and drank water from a syringe. She is so weak she can't stand. She is now opening and closing her mouth and when it opens its a slight clicking or kind of like lip smacking sound. Since the Poly vi all, electrolytes and food, she hasn't made any improvements. She is sleeping on my chest right now. The other chicks were stepping on her.

Thank you all for your help, but my sweet chick passed away. She died in my hands. Poor thing. I'm very thankful for the healthy chicks I do have.
