2 day old ducklng

Are duckling was pretty weak but got a little better then in 2 days it died! any advises why? i think because it hatched early. anyone had that before?

I'm assuming that you were providing feed and supplemental heat. It may just be that it was took weak. Was the yolk sack still attached when it hatched?

yes the yolk was atached but some other ducklings had it atached too and there all fine!

Was the baby able to finish absorbing all the yolk ? What were the reasons they were born early and with yolk sacs still ?

Frequently when this is the case, bacterial infection results in rapid death.

Idk but some survived for some reason some did not???

yes i think it was the bacteria what made it die! Thanks!
