My 2 day old silkie has head between legs and falling and rolling all over. She was fine this morning. I can see it on web cam I am at work. She was malpositioned in eggs. Hatched from skinny end. Slight splay leg fixed with sling. Is this wet neck? What should I do? It’s so sad. I think I’m going to leave work I’m 1/2 hour from home

It is also helpful to use some vitamin B1 thiamine, which is in most chick vitamins such as SaveAChick, Poultry NutriDrench and others. PND also has some vitamin E and selenium which help wry neck. Can you post any pictures of the chick? You will need to help her eat and drink, and you can mix a little feed and water in a dropper.

Sorry I didnt respond sooner. Gave her some nutridrench then went to tractor supply, I couldn't find selenium but I got Poultry Cell which has selenium and Vit E and other stuff, Put it on a q-tip and got drips in her mouth that way. I did it once at about 2:00 and I just did it again now at 6:00pm. We'll see how she is in the morning. Thank you all

Poultry NutriDrench and Poultry Cell are identical, except that PND does not contain riboflavin. Just be careful not to overdose the vitamins—use one or the other. A drop or 2 daily is plenty, then give her plain water.

Thank you. Ok Im just using a q-tip dipped into the Poultry cell so only a very tiny drop is actually getting in her mouth. So should I only do this once a day? or more. Also I went with the Poultry cell because I couldn't see on the ingredients that nutridrench had selenium in it.

Typically my vet tech daughter recommended giving a "loading dose" the first couple of days and then backing off a bit...so I wouldn't be worried about giving her too much at first. Just read the label. Often it is recommended by quart size dilution. I have doubled the first dose solution to give the first day, then backed off the second day to normal.

Just be sure you don't have any iron in it. THAT would be toxic.

My thoughts.
