I have a chicken that hatched late with curved toes and turned in feet. I splinted the feet on the first day but the shoes fell off overnight. I splinted the toes with toothpicks and stuck the toes on a cardboard for 24 hours. Last night I removed the splints because one foot looked good, the other didn't look fine in the splint either and I didn't want to get it stuck in the wrong position. I was hoping that walking on it would correct itself and maybe it did somewhat. Here is a video how it looks, baby chick can walk now but is there anything else I can do to improve it? We are 2.5 days old so I think it isn't too late yet. Splint it again?
Any suggestions?
