ok i had a chick hatched in my incubators 2 days ahead of the other chicks...now shes making too much noise when im not around no matter if shes in a big space or in a small box, but shes fine when i come around..no wonder shes considering me as her mama...now i wonder if she'll be quiet when one of the other chicks is born and is around her...will she? what can i do to satisfy her so that wouldnt make so much noise when im not there

It's an instinct for newly hatched chicks to call for their mates. It's a survival issue. They need others to snuggle with for warmth and for flock security. If the chick is still in the incubator, it can hear the peeping of the unhatched chicks, and it may be chirping to them as much as it is to you.

Bide your time. Soon it will have its mates and it will be content then.

wow....so will be content once i get her a boyfriend...wouldnt the too much peeping cause her damage?

Baby chicks have an unlimited number of peeps in them. No worries about a chick peeping a lot, although you do want to check if the peeping becomes suddenly loud and insistent. If they are too cold or can't reach their food, or if they can't poop, you will hear about it.
