2 Different Hatcheries, 2 Different Ship Dates, I Negotiated Until I Could Hardly Speak.

Hi Y'all, I ordered a few chickens from REDACTED and a few more from a different hatchery (REDACTED), the first batch of chicks is scheduled to arrive July 8th, the second batch of chicks is scheduled to arrive July 24. At what point in their lives can I combine the 2 groups?

I am fine with the ship dates other than that and have enough room to brood 2 batches.
The earlier group also has 3 ducks and 1 drake.

That's only about 2 weeks apart. I'm not sure about the ducks but as for the chickens, I'd put them together when the young ones are about 4 or 5 days old and quite mobile. The others won't have the pecking order thing going yet so the sooner the better.

Just wondering, why are the hatchery names redacted? The poster has not said anything untoward about them. Or is it that they are not sponsors so they don't get press? Just curious.
