2 eggs a day 2 days in a row

When we went out to get the eggs yesterday and we had gotten to from are Rhode Island red I thought maybe one had been from yesterday and we'd missed it or it had been late... But today we got two from her again! We only have 3 chickens and have gotten four eggs the past 2 days! Both doubles perfect eggs from our only Rhode Island Red, Sweetheart. She's making our other girls look bad! Hah!

That is wonderful! Though rare, sometimes you do get a hen that lays two eggs a day. My grandparents had one of those. Twice a day, every day, she'd sneak into their house and go lay a perfect egg, on their BED!
