Alright when I went to collect my eggs today, I had 2 blue eggs in the nest box along with 7 regular eggs from my other hens. I didn't think anything of it until I realized that I only have one ee hen......
First off i collected yesterday at about 8 o'clock, and i didnt miss any eggs.
Possible reasons for the extra egg...
1) My ee hen layed after 8pm last night than again before i collected at 5pm today.
2) My ee hen layed 2 eggs today
3) 3 of my chickens (2 slws and 1 br ) haven't layed yet so this could be from them? They might of got ee in there bloodline?
4) My ee cockerel isnt a cockerel and he is really a hen. I got it as a male for warmth chick in a ideal order. But i posted on here a few times about him and everyone said it was def a male. but than again hes 29 weeks old and hasnt crowed yet.
Please help im very confused
