2 Eggs in one day?

Is it possible? BB, my "special" chicken is not very conventional. She is calcium deficient, a little slow... mentally but quite lovable. She prefers to lay her eggs in my wood house and because it's her and her eggs are a bit breakable (even after supplying her with plenty of calcium), I made a nest for her to lay her eggs in my woodhouse. Today she laid one and sang the egg song so I let her back out. About an hour later I opened the woodhouse door to go get more eggs and she ran right in and hopped on the nest. What's up with that? She isn't broody but she sure thinks she's laying another egg!

i have seen it done twice from my hens. so....

Apparently she decided against this. She hopped out of the nest singing and even louder egg song than before 10 minutes later. With... no egg.
