My silkie was being werid and her butt was all slimy and poopy. This happened before so I got her into the nesting box and she kept grunting and than relieving but nothing came. She did this over and over. I left her alone came back just now and found 2 eggs. Soft one and a hard one covered in slimy poop. The slime is clear and mixed with poop all over her behind. I'm letting her stay in the box because she liked to sleep there some nights when she lays eggs later at night. She has been stressed lately because of her getting bullied (were working on it) it's also a very cold day and they've all be bored and lazy. Could stress be the reason? Shes done this exact thing a couple times. I have videos but idk if you want to see a video of her pulsing behind and all the slime. If itll help just say so and I'll post.

Could be stress related.
If your temps are freezing, it would be a good idea to bring her in and clean up all the slime and poop on her bottom. Give her a good blow dry (make sure she's dry) before you put her back out.

She may also benefit from a little extra calcium for a few days. 1 Caltrate, once a day for 3-5 days. See that she's eating/drinking well, her crop is emptying overnight. If she's getting picked on, she may not be getting to lay an egg when she needs too. Stress can cause all sorts of issues, so hopefully you can resolve that fairly quickly.

I cant being her in today but when I get home I'll have her inside and clean her up. She does lay her eggs daily but does get kicked out of the box because everyone wants a certain box and she stresses out. I have someone that's going to check on her throughout the day to make sure shes in the run and eating and not just sitting in the box.
