2 of the bantam cochins due 4/9 started early, one piped this morning and is still just pipped, the other piped last night and zipped and almost out.
but the LF and other bantams aren't hatching yet, I did move them all over to the hatcher a night early because one of the BCMs was rocking (but its not hatching yet).

If only 2 are early could this be a temp issue? Or is it a bantam thing? The GQF 1270 they were incubated in has been pretty stable, small spike to 101 when I changed the water containers, the humidity has held between 35-40, and did jump to 45% for a bit because the spray bottle I keep in there for emergencies leaked.

Could be either, or both. One of my bantam's hatched on day 18, the rest hatched with other LF eggs on day 21, one even didn't hatch until day 22. Some of my LF hatched on day 19 and 20. So, just depends.

Thanks, guess its unknown, maybe if its a temp issue the LF might hatch early too? I really don't think it is temps but its still possible, I check the incubator several times a day but can't watch 24/7.

the ones out and all formed, yolk fully absorbed, bit slimy but otherwise looks like a chick who was ready to hatch. He or she was peeping a bunch and has already taken a tour of the hatcher tray. Now its taking a nap.
