So just some helpful info, I only have 4 girls so I know them pretty well. Little bit was in the nest earlier. I come out to give treats and she doesn't look right. I grab her and she lays the small egg as I hold her. Back to acting herself. I check the box and she had also laid the other pictured egg (other girls eggs are also other colored, definitely her egg).
The eggs were laid about 2 hours apart.

So 1. Is this just a fluke thing? She's just turned 1 year.
2. Is the cracked large egg ok to eat, membrane is intact.
The smaller egg it's like some spots are soft but not all of it.

Yeah, just a weird egg misfire. Likely a one time thing, and unless it starts happening regularly, she's fine.

When I get cracked eggs like that where the membrane is intact I either eat it immediately, or if I'm not making eggs right then I give it to the dog. It's probably fine to eat right away, but I don't keep or store them like that.
