Omg so cute , we are on day 17 with the calls and the other egg is only on day 5 , tick tock tick tock, congratulations on the 100% hatch Which one is Lucy????

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers, I actually got up and fed the ducks, and managed to put 2 weeks worth of laundry away and clean my kids rooms. Which believe me took all the energy I had, but it's done :)
Tomorrow is a new day...

There is a little pale blonde chick on the left side with faint brown stripes. It has to be a girl. It's cute, friendly and spunky. It was one of the first chicks that runs to greet me when I open the door.

Her. She is the one!

I would be so honored to have her be called Lucy, you have to share a picture so I can put it on my public page :) if that's ok

The pleasure's mine. I'll try to get a picture of her by herself tomorrow. There is just something about her that tells me it's a she.And about her being Spunky. You need to tap into that spunk right now. I know today has been h-e-double tooth picks, I know you feel like somebody has just ran over you literally. But tomorrow will be better. Maybe not a lot, but a little better. Pneumonia is such a hard thing to kick and with your compromised immune system, it means you have to kick a little harder to make it go away. Lots of rest, lots of fluid and lots of duck therapy.

Right now I would just be happy with a good nights sleep. Those little fuzzy butts had me up every time I turned over last night. Like hatching isn't stressful by it'self, they have to CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP while they are doing it, bless their little hearts.......all night.

Update they are zipping and l have not had to help!!!

thats awesome that they didnt need help, congrats!

Update on Lucy aka The train wreck
Had another chest x-ray this morning still have double pneumonia, finished antibiotics on Sunday so that held treatment off for 7 days because the chemo will kill the antibiotics, went back to see if the chest x-ray was negative, it was not, so now another freaking week of oral antibiotics so treatment is now on hold for atleast 14 days. Which means the central line is out and will have to be put back in. Too high of a risj for infection .
I'm extremely discouraged right now and sick of feeling like crap. Haven't had a good day in weeks. Please pray this second round of antibiotics works so we can get back into treatment.

HI Lucy, just checking in to see how you are feeling. :hugs

PS: Have those kids clean their own rooms!

Feeling much better today, even got outside and enjoyed the afternoon after storms hit this morning (slept right through the tornado sirens) it turned out to be a good day!
Kids haven't cleaned their rooms so I bit the bullet and did it last night before bed. I decided that those days were going to stop and I would start pad locking doors if they don't help more :(
Thanks for checking on me!!!
