2 embryo in 1 egg? Please look at picture

I love love LOVE when I talk to my chickens and they turn to look at me with one eye, and their little head cocked to the side.  I think they want to know what I'M thinking!!  Lucky for them my whole family is vegetarian, so they will not be Sunday dinner!!  However, I do hope that someday they will provide us with lots of omelettes!!  And I read somewhere (maybe here? BYC?) that duck eggs are awesome for baking cakes...so will be trying that as well!!
Not sure what I'm going to do when we figure out how many roos we have....probably take them to a swap or auction, although I have a feeling it's always the roos folks have too many of??  We shall see!!!

That are thinking, "thank goodness your vegitarian" :lau

Great pics Lucy!  Hope you are having a decent day today. :)

Today turned out to be a wonderful day, my dearestfriend in the world came over and spent the afternoon with me and helped, and by helped I mean did all the work, while we, and by we I mean she, helped fix my ducks bumble foot. I don't know what I would do without @RavynFallen

That's awesome you guys live so close! (Relatively speaking). How are the ducks feet?

Still have quite a bit of infection but he was feeling better when she got done. Aside from bumble foot he has lice so I have to treat that and soak his foot everyday until this is gone. He has several spots on both feet that were infected. God bless Ravyn, she worked on him for over an hour or longer. We also we able to catch 2 calls who also were injured, 1 looks like it's dislocated it's leg from the geese attacking it yesterday and the other has bumble foot as well..My grow out pin looks like a pet hospital lol.. hopefully I can handle all this on my own.. I paid close attention to how to take care of them :)

Bumble foot is a staph infection. Please be careful and wear surgical gloves when you work on the call. You had a good teacher in Ravyn. Hope all the babies respond quickly to their treatment.
Good luck with your duck and goose hatch.
