Over the last few weeks Ive gotten 2 groups of "mixed chicks" from the local auction. Hopefully you guys can let me know what breeds I have here, as that part is still quite confusing for me. All the other chickens I have are production reds and silkies, this is my first time with mystery chicks! And if certain chicks scream roo or pullet to you, that would also be helpful. Though I do have some ideas about that part already. I didn't post pics of all of them, but I tried to get one chick of each "look".

Chick 1 (feathery feet not shown)

Chick 2

Chick 3

Chick 4

Chick 5 (Not from the same group, older than others)

Newest group

Chick 6

Chick 7

Chick 8 (This little one wouldn't cooperate, sorry for bad pic)

Chick 9

Chick 10

Chick 11

I also recently picked up these 2. I know the one is a Polish, but I cant decide on hen or rooster. And the bantam is a hen, cause she is laying eggs, but what is she? Pic is tough to see but she has some honey colored, and darker wing feathers, but is mostly a grey.

I hope these pics are good enough, but if any of them could use clarification let me know! Thanks in advance for your help, me and the chickens appreciate it!

I was thinking the same thing about 3 and 4. The comb is much too prominent at that age to be ladies. I didnt notice number 10 until you said something, but I bet it is a roo now too.

Anyone else have ideas on breeds? Also gender of the polish in the last picture?

#2 is an easter egger
#4 might be a black sexlink but im not sure
#8 is a barred rock if it has a single comb and dominique if it has a rose comb, but you might have to wait until it is older to be able to tell which but from the picture it looked like a single comb.
