Rookie question here: It's my first incubation (AND is with our own eggs!) and I had three eggs. Today was day 20 (I think? I put them in on 1/22/10 at 3:30pm). Two successfully hatched today at 12:25pm and 3:15pm. The third has not pipped yet. How long do I let the last egg incubate before calling the game off? Thanks in advance for your advice!

"Soupy" (named by my 4 year old. Likely b/c I was eating soup. Brilliant.). One hour old.

Just leave them be and give the other some time. The ones that have hatch can stay in there up to 3 days. They will be fine and of course keep the bator closed and don't touch. What kind are they? Good luck and good pictures!

AAAAWWWE!!!! "Soupy"!!!! I LOVE IT!!!

They are Easter Eggers crossed with EITHER a Blue Splash Silkie roo or a Barred Rock roo. Not sure which roo is the BabyDaddy b/c I had both roosters until a few weeks ago.

They look like a BR mix to me though. BTW: I already took the hatched babies out and put them into a brooder. I hope I didn't create a problem. They were both stepping all over egg #2 (as we now affectionately refer to her as) and I thought they'd appreciate the brooder conditions more. They were both fluffed out at the time.

My first two hatchlings. Less than 8 hrs old

This is Rosie. She couldn't get the top of the shell off her head while trying to hatch!
