2 hatchers goin.. 2-3 days til hatch

I have had many “cheap” styrofoam incubators over the years and they all crap out eventually, but some can still serve well as hatchers, they won’t hold temp consistently for 8-10+ days but with the humidity bumped up to 60-70+ I've found they work great for lockdown 2-3-4 days no problem.. just thought I’d share.. that lets me save 3-4 days on the newer incubators and get them cleaned and back to work faster..

Another advantage to having multiple hatchers is that you can incubate more than one breeding set at a time and still keep them separate so you know which chicks came from which lines.
30 Jumbo Wilds and 30 Jumbo Mix from Myshire Farms in these 2.. and bonus 6 of my Rosetta in a hatch bag separated from the others..
