I have 2 brooding hens (Astrulops) & no rooster, so I got them some fertilized eggs & one just hatched this morning!! Now what is the next step? They are in the "roosting" part of the coop together & the other hens have been in there roosting at night. Should i move the 2 hens, chick & eggs out to a seperate coop? Or since I still have eggs that haven't hatched yet should i wait? I'll need to know soon because we are going to have to build something..
That little chick is soooo cute!! thanks everyone

Have patience. Hens have been hatching eggs with their flock for millions of years.
I would have moved them when they went broody but moving now it may disrupt the whole process.
Just make sure all the feeders accessible to the chicks have starter feed and no layer feed.

Thank you, I'll keep an eye on them and make sure the chicks are not being picked on. The mama's seem to be doing a great job, only left the eggs to poo & grab a quick bite to eat & they never left at the same time!
