2 hens enough

I have 3 chickens together for 6 weeks now. The three were supposed to be pullets but one is a roo. I am not able to have roosters per HOA. Will my 2 hens be ok or should I get another pullet? What is recommended? I would prefer to keep the 2 girls since they are already bonded thanks!

A belated welcome to BYC. Two hens will be fine together, but more would be better - when one dies others would remain as company.

I would re-home the cockerel and add two pullets (if HOA will allow 4 total).

x2, with the caveat that I'd only suggest adding birds if you have space for more than 4 birds, as integration requires extra space. And assuming you want the extra eggs of course.
