2 hens fighting?

I have 1 red bourbon tom and 2 hens about 9 - 10 month old they free-range. The Tom has been displaying and breeding the 2 hens. Yesterday the 2 hens started displaying and fighting. What gives???? Help

I also have one tom and two hens, also bourbon reds, also 9 months old... Mine have sparred but I see it as establishing who is top hen, the smaller one was first to mate and she thought she had something on the larger hen but she was wrong...

I think if they are not drawing blood it would be ok to leave them
