Hey guys, I have 2 bantam hens with leg/foot injuries and I started to notice both over the past few days. I don't know whether both injuries are related but I need help or advice please.

Rosa has no visible wounds and is limping badly. Her leg seems almost dead. She is avoiding walking (sitting down a lot too) but is otherwise healthy ... has an appetite, is drinking and has a bright comb & eyes.

Nigella has a open wound on her foot and is walking pretty well. She seems completely healthy.

Does anyone know what these were caused by and what I can do to help them? Thanks in advance.

Was Rosa vaccinated for Mareks Disease? That can cause lameness or paralysis of one or both legs, wing, or the neck. A bad sprain or broken bone could also be the problem. I would clean Nigella's foot up with some iodine, and apply an antibiotic ointment and a bandage. Do you know how it was injured? Are the chickens fighting or is there an aggressive rooster?

I've experienced Marek's disease before but Rosa was vaccinated for it. She proabably has just sprained or broken the leg ... I made a splint for it this morning and it seems to be helping a little.

No, none of the chickens are fighting and I don't have a rooster. It just seemed weird to me that these happened at about the same time. I don't know what else could have caused these.
