Use of Liquid band aid for foot injuries

I have a 15 month old Sapphire Gem hen that had a bumble foot injury that was causing her to limp. I took her to
a Vet in town who has avian experience. He put her under and removed the infected area. Six weeks later, she has
a nice scab on the affected area that I wrap with that sticky tape to help keep clean and from getting damaged. I
wondered if anyone had any experience using liquid band aid to cover foot wound scabs to help keep them intact?
Seems easier that wrapping her feet every day or two. Thanks in advance for any insights.

I've never heard of anyone do that, but I'd wonder if that's because it's just not used on chickens or nobody else got the bright idea like you did.

I'd check the ingredients of it and for the first couple, google, ie. "Is xxx safe for chickens."

At six weeks out, could she possibly forego bandaging at all? I'm leery of liquid bandage on any animal. If they can reach it, it's coming off ... and getting immediately swallowed!

If it's been scabbed over for 6 weeks I wouldn't cover it at all. The scab should hold until she finishes healing up enough that it gets pushed off. For bumblefoot post surgery I wrap for maybe a week tops.
