2 hour old Silkie chick has bleeding toe ALL BETTER, THANKS!

My 2 hour old Silkie has a bleeding toe. I have been putting pressure on it with a paper towel and think it has about stopped. Is there anything else I should do?

you are going great pressure helps. If you have baking soda.. put some on and apply pressure. Do not use a septic pencil or stop bleed as it will hurt it.

Is she in with others. Sometimes those little toes look like little worms and get bitten. You could wrap it in apart of a band-aid to keep it from getting pecked at. Should be fine.

I have her separate because I have guinea keets hatching. It is all better now though!
