On my first hatch I never saw movement at all and was convinced they were not going to hatch... that I fried them with a too high temp or something and then, even without noticeable movement, pips on day 21! I sure hope you get those chicks hatched soon... it's so eggciting
The last batch pretty much hatched on 21 days 8 hrs - 22 days 10 hrs. ...so hang in there Holly. I will probably increase temp a little next time I am using that bator.
Today, I have one baby out at 20 days and 2 hrs
with only one other pipped... at the wrong end. So we shall see how that goes. I've had mostly good fortune with ones that pip at the wrong end.
geez.... these hours are definitely longer than 60 min!!
I want a little smiley that shows a clock ticking or a smiley checking his watch .... or instead of one looking at the pc.... starring into the bator... or pacing back and forth
2 hours till I am on day 22 and I have 4 pips that I can see! Lots of rocking and I can hear them Peeping. So I am very excited these babies wait every bit of 21 days till they began to hatch.
I have 1 out a very lively white silkie..LOL I mean someone put somthing in that chicks egg..LOL its all over the bator rolling the others all around..LOL..I still have 3 more pips starting to break the membrane now in the other 3 but No more pips in the other 7 yet so I am hoping this little one gets them to going..lol
I'm hoping for atleast 10 out of 11. My 1st hatch i put in 6 and only got 2 chicks so I am hoping for more this time.
