Ummmm, I tossed out the chicken incubator already.

It reminded me of my baby chicks. My mom has the gosling incubator. I will probably take a break for now. I will build a new one when I am ready.

Don't give up on raising geese. As an avid goose lover myself I've come to understand that sometimes things happen and you can't save your friends. The reason you feel bad, because your birds died, is the exact reason you should continue. That sadness shows that you really care about the animals and you are exactly the type of person who should take care of them.

Take a little training from your mom, but don't give up. I know if I was a goose, I'd want you to be in your brood.

I agree do not give up on hatching. Goslings are very hard to hatch and survive. You did it with the gosling!!!! Good for you!

Yes, do get mom to get that membrane off that gosling A.S.A.P. You can also take the gosling and put warm water on it and gently rub on it while under the warm not hot water. Then towel dry baby. I then take a hair dryer on low and low blowing and dry the gosling. Not too close just enough to dry and warm baby.
I have never raised baby chicks so have NO idea of what to do with them? But have been raising Sebastopol geese for almost 8 years this year. I LOVE them dearly!

Totally agree! Dont give up. My first hatch this year was 6 brown chinese goslings, i lost 3, one hatched with deformities, one dropped dead two days later and the other was attacked by the 3 survivors. If i had given up and i WAS thinking about it. I wouldnt have 12 beautiful goslings and 10 crazy ducklings running around and making my days so much better.
