2 japanese eggs strange looking candleing

7 days and I dont know wether I should throw them-
one is more strange than the other it has an aircell and a mass in the middle and on the pointy end it looks clearish???

anyone?????

That MASS is your chick, it's not big enough to fill up the egg yet.

tiki, have you hatched japs before? You know about the fatal genetic defect don't you? Don't throw the eggs yet. Japs have a genetic defect that causes embryo's to die just days from hatching. I can't remember the name for it but, I use to raise Japs and about 25% of the eggs would be affected. I hope this does not happen to yours but, it is a possibility. Sorry to be the bringer of not so good news, if you did not already know this.

Oh No BantyChick Mom and KingsCalls I threw one out!!! I killed it!!

I feel so bad. Man am I stupid. They didnt look at all like the other eggs I candled. I have one left and she just layed me one more. So I have one at 7 days and one at 0 days. I will know better next time.

Thanks for your responses guys-Im just too impatient sometimes. I need to keep my paws out of the incubator.
