Hey everybody! New member here and I'm sure you hear this often, but I have these 2 ladies that I'm not sure of the breed(s). My neighbor and his friend got chicks from who knows where and since we had a coop and they wouldn't have to build one we let them use it but they had to take care of them. Well they are young dumb idiots and stopped taking care of them or even showing up. I took over the flock and told them never to come back when no one had shown up for over a month. I know the breeds of 13 of my 15 girls. These 2 however are just a mystery to me. There are EE in the flock so I was thinking maybe they are a type of EE but I am stumped. Any ideas?

The gold with gray feathers is Helga. She has hawk like features and large but very docile and sweet and a little skittish

The second is Heidi. She has red and lavendar feathers. Much smaller than Helga and built like my EEs

Both are Easter Eggers! Gorgeous ladies! :D
Thank you! I have great flock! The only problem was my neighbor and his friend combined th heir 2 sets together. One had EEs and RIR (one of which turned out to be a roo) and his friend had a mixed bunch ( Colombian, Barred Rock, Bearded Buff Laced Polish, Helga, Heidi, and a Salmon Faverolle that I thought was a mutant EE till I did research lol).

They started laying 2 weeks ago. So far I have 1 olive egg layer and 2 blue layers and a pink layer of my EEs but not consistently yet. My reds I have 3 layers who lay if not everyday every other. My Barred is my top layer and is laying everyday at 930 pretty much on the dot lol.

Consistant layers are awesome! We have a barred cochin who lays the same time every day just about, can always count on her for breakfast or baking haha! :D

My 2 blue eggs tonight were a great surprise. The light doesn't do them justice and makes them look seafoam green but they are a light blue
