Hi I was just wondering if I could keep two chinese quail pairs together, or the would the males fight over the females and they might get hurt. Thanks

If you have a giant space then you can. Otherwise they are going to kill each other. Quail are very territorial and if you don't give them enough territory you'll end up regretting it.

You're really trying hard to reinvent the wheel here. Don't put male quails in the same enclosure. Eventually they will always fight. If you have them in a aviary ok, thats enough space but a cage will never be. You are taking the aggressive tendencies of button quail far too lightly. They are small and cute, but they can kill another button in minutes if they fight.

x2 to what dc3085 said.

It doesn't matter whether they are related or not as quail's know nothing about family once they're all adults (incest can occur and they won't know anything, nor would they care). They generally only worry about their chosen significant other. These guys are monogamous and they won't hesitate to karate peck any third-wheeling quail in their territory, even if they were raised as chicks together.
