Well my original ducks are both males! Their tails have curled so I'm glad that I at least have the one female that was given to us. So now Twinkie (who we thought was a female) is now refered to "Twink" or "Twink big man on campus" lol So for now we have Sahara (ladies first) Twink and Noodle and they all seem to know their names...especially Sahara.
I would love to get another female but going to wait until after winter.

There' a good chance she will be over bred by them both.

oh no! I never thought of that! I don't want to get rid of these ducks...they're like family. So should I try to see about getting an older female?

I would advise that. You can try a ad in the Buy Sell Trade section or your local craigslist. I find female ducks on there all the time for 10-15 dollars.

thank you! I'm going to see if I can't find the woman we bought our cayogas from....she has all sorts of poultry as she deals alot with the 4H and also sells for meat and just to raise. Thanks again!

ok sort of a stupid question...but call duck? what exactly is that one like?

Call ducks are very small bantam ducks. They are often compared to a "Rubber Duck" look down here. I wouldn't advise a female with large cayuga drakes.
