Hi, it would be helpful if you answer.all.the questions in the template that's posted for the emergency thread, it will save time on the advice giver.

Do you have nutri drench? I would offer that in water or even straight to get her some much needed nutrients. Also give her raw yolk to boost nutrition. I had mine on antibiotics (aquamox) used a humidifier and put eucalyptus, peppermint and rosemary essential oils on their bedding. All three of my hens recovered. They didn't have swelling or visible mucus, but I heard it in their lungs when I put my ear to the top of their backs.

@Wyorp Rock @azygous @Eggcessive please Help!

Does she have any diarrhea? Can you offer her some fluids with electrolytes or some gatorade up to her beak right away? She looks sleepy/lethargic and hunched/puffed up. Those can be signs of coccidiosis. Look into her eyes for any bubbles or foam, and note if she has any head shaking or mucus from her beak which could be respiratory. How long have you had her and where did she come from? Corid from the feed store in her water would treat coccidiosis intestinal infection. Dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1 1/2 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days.

Help her drink that if she is not drinking well. If she has a respiratory disease she may need an antibiotic Tylosin 1 tsp per gallon of water, and you can get it online here:

My bad! I answered all the questions I thought were relevant.
Age of the bird, symptoms exhibited. When I noticed them and whether or not my other birds had symptoms. And what I was doing to treat her so far.
It came out of no where so I was kinda panicking. Thinking back I have been hearing sneezes every now and then my thought nothing of it.

Its been hot here and I have 3, 2 month old chicks a sussex(one pictured) a barnvelder and a GLW. I've had them since thry were day old chicks and got them from a local hatchery they've been completely healthy so far. I've been intergrating them into my flock ( in a separate cage inside the run) we leave them in there during the day then bring them inside at night. My house is cooler then outside so my guess is between the heat and them going from warm weather to less warm inside might of effected them

I brought her (sussex) inside immediately gave her fresh food and water and put my brooder heater back in there. I posted here then ordered vetRX from tractor suppy (vickvapor rub for chickens basically.. pretty nifty) after montioring her inside she seemed to perk up but still weezy and sneezy

They always have electrolytes and vitamins I their water but after consulting with other people I have added ACV as well.

After calling 4 different vets that either didnt have an avian vet that day/ or bird vet was on vacation/ didnt take chickens due to bird flu and instructed me to call the USDA

I contacted an online vet to trouble shoot her. He surmised from the symptoms and videos it appears to be a respiratory infection. And sent my links to 3 different antibiotics he recommended. I ordered doxy-tyl online but its gunna be a few days before it is here.

I kept an eye on the other 2 chicks as well and one was sneezing and had a slight bubble noise to her breathing(barnevelder) so now she is being quarantined in the brooder as well. The last chick (GLW) isnt displaying and symptoms and her poops look normal. I will continue to monitor her for changes.

The sussex chick was eating well but not drinking much but since the barnvelder chick has been in there they both seem more comfortable and have been eating and drinking.

As far as poops go the Sussex chick has green poops th barnevelder chicks poops are looking normal but she since she has a gurgle in breath im gunna treat her as well.

I haven't noticed and bubbly or foamy eyes just kinda half closed and head shaking but that has gotten better over the day.

ChatGPt also suggested given them soaked crumbled or some scrambled eggs and yogurt to help with hydration and protein intake (which they both enjoyed)

My sussex is no longer fluffed up and is more active but still has kinda squinty eyes. Barnevelder is acting completely normal besides the breathing gurgle. But I am going to keep them both inside until they recover.

If by the time the antibiotics they seem to have recovered should I still treat them for 7 to 10 days?

All in all its been quite a day. Thankyou both for your advice!
