I have a 2 month old leghorn that layed an egg. It is a little bigger than a penny. Does it mean anything if they lay an egg this young.

Adult hens sometimes lay eggs that tiny too, so maybe an older hen did it? How sure are you about which bird produced that egg?

If the young Leghorn really did, it means she's maturing much earlier than usual. Animals that mature extra-early sometimes have problems later in life (sometimes, not always.) But there's not really anything you can do about it, except making sure she has the usual food for her age (chick starter or grower or something like that), plus a dish of oyster shell so she can help herself to the right amount of calcium, and of course plenty of water.

Once a pullet has started laying, she probably won't stop until she goes broody, or the days get short, or she molts, or something like that.
