I have a 2 month old polish pullet that is limping! Yesterday was the first time I noticed it.I have 3 other chicks that are her age.She was just sitting around while her friends were walking around.Last night instead of putting her out in the chicken coop with the big chickens,I put her and one of her friends in a box in my house. She was doing about the same this morning, none worse, none better. He only symptoms are sitting around a lot, and limping. I already looked at her foot,I did not see anything wrong. What could be wrong with her? And also, she seems to have lost her appetite, but she is still drinking water.
Can you Google chicken slings and chairs, and look at some of the images of some that people have made? Slings can be good to palce them in to get them upright, and you can put food and water in front of them to reach. Offer a little chopped egg and a bit of chopped liver or canned tuna to get her eating. Add some chick vitamins to her water. If you stand her up does she keep both legs the same, or is one turned outward or slightly behind the other? Slipped tendon and leg bone deformities can appear, or sometimes they can be injured somehow. If you can get her to eat and drink, it might give her a chance. Try dipping her beak into the water to get her drinking.

I went and bought a 16oz bottle of Corid, and I gave all of my chickens some,to prevent Cocicidios in the ones that do not have it.I put her inside again, but this time I did not put a friend with her. I hope she gets better soon. @Eggcessive I already saw her drinking.

Corid dosage in the water, if you are going to treat for coccidiosis, is 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Try placing your lame chick in a sling for several hours at a time, and encourage it to take water and food. Injuries can take a week to several weeks to heal. Watermelon is very good to tempt a chicken to drink fluids. Try all the suggestions above to get some nutrition into her.

She is starting to crawl around a little bit,I think she wants to move but just can't.She seems a little better. Now I let her out every day, and every night put her up. She gets poop stuck to her back feathers, I still think she has coccicidiosis.

Did you treat her with the Corid already?
