got ya attention , so 2 hens both brooders, 1 has 6 week babys and the other has 2 weeks.
problem begins when mum 2 calls her babys. mum 1 gets angry and attacks her,
so do i remove the mum and 6 weeks from the (seperate )brooder and put them with the flock on the pirches?as there 6 weeks or seperate the mum to the coop without babys to break her mum habbit?
mum 2 with the few week old needs to be allowed to be a mum but shes not allowed down from the brooder boxes, the other hens get involved too when she does it like they support the angry mum (who by the way is normal bottom of the order and a coward)
but when the babys get on the floor because mum is being challenegd babys get pecked too, so i have to catch the, n thriow them back up
the other mum with 6 weekers still sleeps in a brooder box by choice,
i also have 15 babys 6 week old in a run next to my current flock, how can i introduce them all? there unsexed and i plan to eat roosters, i have a min cockerel in my flock so i wont keep many but the girls will be his
