2 muscovy mums-2 nests-2 separate sheds, 1 for each.........what next?

I have separated the 2 runs now because originally the mum with eggs but not hatched went in the others' shed & became very rough with the smallest chick, mum 2 has 5 chicks now.
Mum 1 is still sitting on her eggs. I would prefer to have them together.

Has anyone had a similar problem, I know males are violent with chicks but what about other females?

Thanks in advance.

You have done the right thing by separating them, My ducks when they have ducklings are separate by temp fencing for at least 3 weeks from the rest of the flock, the ducks can be pretty mean to another's ducklings maybe even kill them. They can all see the mama and her ducklings but I feel this is giving the ducklings a chance to gain strength and some size before letting them in with the rest. My ducklings are 5 weeks now and they still get picked on by the other ducks but can get away from them a lot faster. Just make sure where you have your mamas and broody's is safe from predators. Congrats on the hatch.
