I have a silkie who i thought was just broody, but now I am just not sure.
I posted about her a couple days ago.
she is still eating and drinking but seems to be slowing down. Grit this am.
I have her in the house broody breaker.
she shakes her head from time to time and sometimes backs up.
I was giving her a once over and it seems like her neck is strange.
crooked neck almost. She is moving around.
but she is just not eating enough.
Born in July

any advice?

In your title you mention 2 necks - can you explain that more?

Check her over for lice/mites (look in her ears too) and make sure her crop is emptying overnight.
Backing up may be a symptom of Wry Neck so it wouldn't hurt to give her some vitamin therapy to see if that helps. 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. Give her a little scrambled egg as a treat.
See that she's eating and drinking well.

Personally, I would leave grit and oyster shell available free choice so she can pick up what she wants as needed.

she is doing better, it felt like she almost had 2 necks, or a long tumor. Maybe something stuck in her throat. Hard to explain. I did do vitamin E. Scrambled egg and a bit of avocado.
she has oyster and grit at all times.
no lice one mite, but am thinking about getting checked for worms.
crop empties over night. I have her back in coop with everyone else now. Neck seems fine now, so strange.
thank you for your help
