Just got in from the barn all 3 American buff s are setting noticed the old gander Clyde in the bArn and found two little ones under Bonnie it's been a weird spring I don't know if she will take my buff dewlap that's 3 dAys old should I chAnch it ? Advice please

My American Buff goose adopted 2 two-week-old goslings when her 5 were only days old. We had them where she could see them for awhile, and then let them go in with her. She gave them some odd looks (you could just tell she was wondering how two of her goslings got so big so quickly) but she took them in as her own almost immediately. She was more worried about us than the extra goslings.

I'd set up a safe area for her to look at them and sit back and watch her for awhile -- see what she does. But, as long as they are making baby gosling noises still, then I think she'd do fine! Just make sure you watch them at first . . .

My goose died during egg laying this spring. I ordered 2 female gosling to replace her. My gander adopted the 2 of them rather quickly. When they were 5 weeks old he adopted 3 Toulouse goslings immediately upon seeing them. After the first day one of the females really took on the role of mother. She would let them crawl under her for the first week or so. It was cute and comical at the same time. As larkflying said put them where they can see each other and then let them get used to each other. Some geese are very likely to adopt and some it may take more time.
