The only 2 that hatched 2 days ago have gone downhill. they are staggering dont want to eat or drink & they keep falling over, their legs have gotton really weak & keep spreading aprt. this morning i found one of them laying on its back.

i keep trying to dip their beaks in the water, but theyre not interested.
any ideas?..i dont think theyre going to make it

Sorry I know nothing about peachicks... you may want to post in that section here to get the Peachick experts to see this. I would maybe try an eyedropper with some electroytes in it or
sugar. Also maybe try some yogurt.. thats what I would do for chicken chicks

Good luck!

Put sugar in the water and add electrolytes if you have some. Are they in a brooder by themselves? It is very hard to get them to eat/drink by themselves. I put a chick in with mine till they got going really good. Hard boil some eggs, mash up the center only and maybe mix with a little water. You may have to try to hand feed them till they gain some strength. I am sure deerman and some of the others can offer a lot more help and info but maybe this will get you going in the right direction. Good luck and keep us updated.

I have them in with 3 other peachix that are 4 days older & a guinea that hatched with them...even the guinea is fine.
1 has been eating and drinking ive noticed, but hes still staggering & falls over alot. the other one..ive tried everything & cant even get it to open its mouth.

I have hardboiled yolks & water w/sugar & the 20% game starter in there.
Maybe it has something to do with their rough incubation..getting cold & knocked around..then ending up in the incubator.

I don't know, I wish I could help more. I know mine staggered around for the first few days. I was worried it had a leg issue but by the third day he was stronger and doing well. Maybe try adding red food coloring to the food might attract him some. What about forcing his beak open and putting a little food in his mouth?

When I first got my day-old peachicks I noticed they were attracted to my long red fingernails. So if I pecked at the food, they came running. I started feeding them wetted feed from out of the back of my nails. They would really bite and go for my fingernails and anything I was feeding them with them. Scrambled egg is good for them. If they hadn't been real nails, I think they would have pulled them off my fingers. We continued that until they were several weeks old (eventhough they were eating just great on their own) and it really hurt and they were starting to bite me. BUT....they are very tame today at one year old. So, paint your nails red and give it a try.

This is what I usually do
Hard boil an egg and blend the egg white with a little bit of sugar and electrolytes with water till it is a little watery, but not to runny.
Good luck!!
I have better luck with the egg whites.

Well the 2 peachix are still alive ..they still look awful shakey & wobbly though. One of them lets out this scream ..ive never heared any peachix do that before lol

also, they keep doing the splits..im so nervous that their legs are going to splay , but they havent yet.

Ive got 3 silver pied eggs ..im trying again lol

I've got 5 new baby peachics too!!! Thanks for the info, one of them is not doing so good... I can't get it to eat like the others.

If you have a syringe give them syrup or sugar water down the throat ,make sure to get past the wind pipe. You can also open the beak and place small pieces of cook egg yolk.

Make sure they are not on slick floor.

Had these peachicks been eating???

I keep a syringe with a 3in plastic tubing. Can even had feed one with the syringe just put the tubing pass the wind pipe.
This would only be in the case if the chick is to weak to eat.
