2 Partridge cochins of the same age

we have to partridge cochins of the same age and same feathering color/pattern. The only difference is that one is almost twice the size of the other. Does that mean one is a rooster? Or is extreme size variation a thing in this breed?
 
Your picture is a bit dark, so I can't see the coloration. Males will feather out darker, with a different pattern than the females. Male cochins also get red combs pretty early. Size doesn't matter. Some are just smaller birds than others.

Thanks that is really help neither one of them has much of a comb so far so I feel pretty confident now that they are both hens
