I think I read somewhere here that this is chickens pecking her head? Can it be stopped and Will feathers come back? She’s the only one like this
Can you tell me what you think this rooster may be

The chicken may need to be separated until the feathers grow back.

Could be pecking could be molting. Rooster is a crossbred.

Question 1: That happens a lot when hens are getting over bred. The Roosters pull them out.

To me it looks like over breeding too. Separate out the rooster and the feathers should grow back.

I have a hen whose hea looks like this. I got rid of the rooster that was doing it to her but don't expect feathers to grow back before next year's moult.
Your rooster is beautiful. My neighbor has one very similar who is a mixed breed but the best rooster ever! He protects his girls but is still very sweet with the humans.

Your rooster is a dominique mix. As for the first question, I haven't experienced that so I can't help.
