2 questions....

1) Is there a certian color I can paint the inside of my coop that will benifit my hens in laying ?

2) I used cedar posts when I was building my coop, they are well seasoned, about 2 years, will these harm my chicks ? Anyone ?

cedar posts are no problem at all, whatsoever, I promise

I don't know of color making any difference, but a light pastel or white will give maximum light, thus maximum apparent daylength, thus the best year-round laying you're going to get.
