2 roos with 16 hens?

Red, I had two roos to sixteen hens for awhile and it worked. My alpha was very dominant and my subordinate roo very laid back and afraid of getting his butt kicked by the alpha, so he toed the line real well.
Though the boys rarely got into it, there was a tension in the air that affected the whole flock. I didn't realize it until I re-homed my alpha and suddenly all was right with my girls. Hard to explain, sorry.

i have 2 roos to 13 hens and my roos are the best of friends, one is more dominant but not by a whole lot, they wre raised together, but roos are so different, so I would at least keep an eye on them for awhile to see what happens, but am hope everything goes well for you

I had 2 roos and around 13 hens for a while and they were and still are fine except when Sunny the lesser dominant roo tries to breed the hens. When he does sometimes gets the job done 20 or 30% I think. The other percent Bertrum the dominant chases him away. My last hatch had 2 of his babies out of 12. The other last hatch 3 out of a few more.
