One of our girls (a 7 month old hybrid) laid 2 shellless eggs this morning. Shes the only one laying, so they must be her eggs. She's very quiet and hiding in the coop. Comb colour is good, she's had some food but not as greedy as normal. Temperature is fine, no signs of dehydration, but not her normal self.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The flock consists of an older girl, Connie who is 7 years old and 2 young buff orpingtons who aren't in lay yet.

They get layers pellets, but are on flubenvet pellets to worm at the moment.

She is hiding away, but not huddled up in facing the corner like they get when they are really bad.

I've just taken her to the vet who has given her a calcium shot.
