We hatched out 2 chicks under our hen they are energetic, flighty, growing but really skinny I can feel their bones but they act fine they free range most of the day but always have food and fresh water out they are 4 weeks old . Our silkies and our Icelandic pullets seem skinny too. We are testing stool samples on Wednesday but until then how do I get their weight back up?

Are you sure there is a problem?
How is their crop? My chickens like canned corn, which I'm told is fattening. They are also fond of kraft Mac and cheese. I also have free range chickens and they do get a lot of exercise compared to chicken prisoners.. All are kind of skinny except for the one old slacker non layer. I feed them all sorts of crap and they still live long lives . You can try a wormer too.

What do you feed them now.

They are fed chick feed crumble and one of my chickens has always been fat now she’s under weight that’s what got me worried

We wormed them before we got the silkies but maybe the silkies brought something to the flock we had them quarantined they were skinny but we just thought it was the old owners. So they went with the flock 😕
now I know it was a stupid move

The mama hen is also weaning them off her so there is no titbiting and they have been chirping loud running after her
Wait until you get the results of their fecal float.
Doesn't sound like there's really an issue unless the chicks are not active/eating/drinking.
If in the US it's hot right now so birds don't eat quite as much and if they are free ranging, they are finding but.

If the fecal float reveals that you need to use a de-wormer, then you can start from there.
