Hello again!
I went out to the coop this morning to find 2 very soft shelled eggs on the floor of the coop.
I put one of my girls back in the coop last night after being out for several days - from being pecked.... she laid her 1st egg yesterday while she was away from everyone.... I found these 2 eggs under where she was on the roost . I only have 1 other egg layer that I know of and she wasn't near these eggs....should I be highly concerned? Is this something that can happen when they 1st start laying?? I have them on layer feed and I have oyster shells out for them.

I'll add some pics. And I'll add a pic of the one she laid yesterday- she's a barred rock...
All the girls- I have 5... are all walking around like normal, scratching at the straw I put in yesterday, drinking, etc....
Thank you!

Thank you so much! It threw me off a bit because she laid one yesterday and my other layer want near that area... so I need to keep on eye on who else has started!
