I have 2 very loving and personable Pekins that need a loving home. They were hatched and raised together by a preschool class and have since been a part of our family for the last year +. They are extremely friendly one of them loves to be held. They are both laying females and have some very delish eggs. We are moving and can not take them. They come with a house/coup, three kiddie pools, food and dishes. They just need a home where they will get lots of love and human contact. They were also raised with 2 labradors and are not afraid of dogs or much else for that matter. We are located in Southwest Florida and would be willing to meet halfway within 50 miles. However I do not have a truck to transport the coup.

we are in Cape Coral, Florida. It is just west of Fort Myers. I am very familiar with Weston. We've been there several times. About an hour and 20 minutes from where we are.

the ducks are lovely. We have chickens, goats and Dobermans! LOL!. My son has a homemade duck coop (not occupied yet, although we have a two week duckling) but I am not sure whether yorus is safer. What is the size? Would I need to bring my trailer or would it fit in our Excursion. Do you have a pix of the coop you can send?

The coop was made out of a Playschool brand toddler playhouse. The preschoolers donated it to the ducks. I screwed in heavy gauge metal mesh to keep out the big critters. We house dog rescues in addition to our own labradors. The playhouse/coop has managed to keep out the big crazy rescue dogs. Let me get you the measurements. I attached a picture to this thread but I don't know if it went through. Be back with you shortly. I'm so excited for them this has been very hard on me, as I love them very much. By the way their names are Cosmo and Wanda. Cosmo who is now Cosma, we thought originally was a boy.

Well don't get too excited yet bc my husband is out of town today and may say that we have way too many animals right now. We have six baby chicks in a brooder in my son's bedroom! They are really beautiful duck and the breed we eventually wanted so I am hoping he will be okay with all.

My nav says two hours and twenty minutes. My husband is in Naples so I am going to see if he is willing to go north. If not, but he is okay with adopting, I am off work Thursday and Friday and could come get them if you can wait that long.

You are so right on the travel time. I am sorry about that. We used to live just outside of Naples and it was 1 hour less time. I am usually home so at your convenience when you can come. Your husband is more then half way here if he is in Naples.
