Is this Cornish cross male or female, and about how old are they?

Hello there! Just a few hours ago, I picked up a young chicken that presumably fell off a chicken truck. I don't know for sure that that's what happened, but there are a ton of chicken trucks that drive through the area, and I'm almost certain this bird is a young Cornish cross. It's only been a short time, but so far, the chicken has only stood up once, they have very thick legs, almost no feathers on their belly and under their wings, and they are extremely large for a young bird.

I brought the bird home and put them in a separate coop for quarantine (I have a bantam flock, too). They appear to be uninjured aside from a toenail that's been torn off. I initially thought that they were about two months old, but it's been a long time since I've raised large breed birds from chicks, so I may be off. I was looking at photos I took of another Cornish cross I used to have as she grew up, and the photos of other bird at one month look very much like this chicken that I picked up today. This bird is probably twice the weight of my adult Belgian d'Uccle mix bantams, a bit taller, and much wider.

I'm leaning towards thinking they are a pullet, but I'd love to hear some opinions from other folks about it. Does this bird look male or female to y'all? (I only took two photos before it got dark outside! I can get more photos tomorrow if needed.)

The new bird:

I took the second photo to keep a reference of the missing toenail and wound, but I'm attaching it here in case a look at the leg might help with identification.

Thank you all, and happy holidays! :)

It does look like a Cornish cross. Looks like a pullet but not 100% confident without knowing age.
I do not have a guess as to age. I was unaware of them being moved until butchering age. Idk maybe check for Cornish cross at butchering age pics and see if you think that's a match.
Sorry not a lot of help.

Thanks for your reply! Your comment is helpful. I've been comparing this bird's photo to lots of photos online of Cornish crosses at butchering age, and this bird does seem a lot younger. I'm thinking they're about four to five weeks old. I'm leaning towards thinking they're female, but time will tell eventually.

Looking at the wattles, I might guess male, but I could easily be wrong (given the uncertainty about age, and the lack of any others to compare with.)

When you know for sure, please do post an update, because that helps us all learn to make more accurate predictions in future.

Hey, did this end up being a roo? I found an almost identical bird this morning, same age, and am really hoping for pullet. I actually took one in last October that was processing age, absolutely fell in love, ended up being a rooster and had to go live with a friend. Don't think I can convince the friend to take a second rooster so I'm hoping for better luck this time, lol.
