2 week chicks extras?

Can we hang a brussel sprout for our 2 week old chicks to peck? Also we have some chaffhaye for the deer. Can they get a little of that yet, or too soon?

I'd wait two more weeks then I'd steam it or something first.
Mine loved steamed broccoli.

Wait until at "least" a month old before any treats.

I'd wait longer, or at the very least, provide grit a few days in advance.

I don't know if they'll touch a brussels sprout though.

I just found the thread about the treats for chicks, but am still wondering if the fermented alfalfa is ok

Your choice but we all recommend wait until they are at least a month. Gives their digestive system time to adjust to feed.
