Feather growth and coloring is saying pullet to me but the first chick is harder to tell.

The barring in Barred Rock roosters is different than hens. The white barring in roosters is bigger than black barring.

Or maybe a lot longer. I have 3 BR and continuously worried one was gonna be a boy. Really wasn't sure until she was teenage and was 100% sure when she began laying.

When their color starts to develop, you'll easily be able to tell. Hens look overall more black, and roos look more white. Hens have more black barring, and roos have more white barring.

Help! I have two 2 week old Barred Rock chicks and no clue if they're Freds or Sallys. I've read countless things online trying to help me sex my chicks but all its done is confuse me more! What sex do you all believe they are?

The person you are questioning has not been on this site for 9 years!
Wait until your chick is 6 weeks old then post full body unobstructed pictures of it in natural light in the What Breed or Gender is this? forum for opinions. Good luck.
