One of our little 2-week-old chicks has been a little lethargic and barely walking for the past day. She is eating and drinking, when I move her to the vitamin water and food. She still pecks at things while she's laying down, but she appears to be breathing a little faster, and she's sleeping a lot. When she does get up, it's for a short time and very unsteady.

After observing her a few times I noticed she isn't putting much weight on her right leg and rolls a little onto her left side. I'm wondering if she hurt it? I've been looking online for help (lots of good info on BackYard, as always), but I can't figure out what to do if it is her leg. I've attached a couple of photos and a video of us testing out her standing.

Thanks in advance, any thoughts?

I've been looking for leg splint photos of chicks, does anyone have a few photos? Not for splayed legs. I might try and just wrap her right leg.

And now she's not even trying to use her legs. She will drink water and eat when I bring it to her. I'm thinking I need to remove her, and all the chicks, to a brooder so I can watch her. They are attached to mom, but this little chick (her name is Noodle) can't get out of the way while mom is scratching. It's breaking my heart. :hit
