2 Week old chicks - fight over a spider

I could have died. I have started letting my chicks free range in the yard for an hour or two each day. Yesterday my Orp (Ethyl) caught a big old spider

and my Ameraucana (Lulu) went chasing her around the yard! They were SO funny to watch. Poor Ethyl couldnt eat the darn spider because Lulu wouldnt stop chasing her around! Finally I grabbed Lu so that Ethyl had a chance to gobble it down.

I was laughing out loud and yelling for my 2 year old to come witness it!

Two major pluses: Spider Reduction and Chicken Football! Love it!
